Are you a Licensed Psychoeducational Specialist? We’re hiring!

Welcome to Driftwood
Our mission is to provide comprehensive, individualized, and personal attention to each and every client.
We are committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care to all patients, regardless of their background or circumstances.
Our current evaluation time frame is approximately nine months from start to finish.
Helping Our Clients Find Answers
A psychological evaluation can assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of various psychological and developmental conditions.
An evaluation can help diagnose:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
- Executive Functioning Deficits
- Learning Disabilities (Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia, Dyspraxia)

A diagnosis can provide support.
Supports may include school-based accommodations (i.e., extended time on tests and assignments, preferential seating, sensory breaks, assistance with note-taking, alternate testing locations, foreign language or math waivers), and/or extended time on entrance exams (i.e., SAT, ACT, GRE, LSAT, MCAT, Bar Exam).
Insurance
We accept:
- Healthy Connections/SC Medicaid
- Absolute Total Care
- First Choice by Select Health

While we try hard to verify benefits, copays, and deductibles for commercial insurance, ultimate responsibility lies with the primary insured.
Our office can help you file for reimbursement for your out-of-network benefits.
We also offer a reasonable private pay rate if you aren’t able to use your insurance benefits or for any of the excluded reasons listed below that insurance deems “not medically necessary”.
- Learning Disabilities, learning / academic problems
- Academic / testing accommodations (e.g. SAT/ACT, college, LSAT, MCAT, GRE),
- Other academic issues (e.g., 504 Plan, IEP), disability
- Anything legally-based
Referral Process
The referral process typically begins with a referral from a primary care doctor. We also accept referrals from other medical professionals, such as therapists and psychiatrists.
Due to changing insurance company requirements, we are no longer able to accept self-referrals. Please ask your doctor or counselor to send a referral via info@DriftwoodEval.com or via Fax: 843-594-0110
